3. Purpose: To provide roadway preservation products and services on City roads.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: The initial contract term of this contract is October 20, 2020 through October 19, 2022 with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: To provide better roadways for our citizens by extending roadway life and reducing life cycle costs.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): Estimated annual expenditure is $240,000 based on appropriation in the City budget. Future expenditures shall be as appropriated in each budget year.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council waive the bidding, per Chapter 35.04 (c), good cause shown, and approve participating in the St. Lucie County Contract #C20-10-767 for the Roadway Resurfacing, Reconstruction and Preservation with Pavement Technology, Inc.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve participating in the St. Lucie County Contract #C20-10-767.
2. Move that the Council not approve participating in the St. Lucie County Contract #C20-10-767 and provide staff with direction.
