2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and Securitas Electronic Security, Inc.
3. Purpose: To provide and install security systems and related equipment at City facilities.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: The initial term began on January 11, 2022 through January 10, 2025 with two (2) 1-year renewal terms ending on January 10, 2027.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Utilize Martin County's contract to provide a wide range of products and services that have been competitively bid to offer the best value to the City.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): Estimated expenditures for Fiscal Year 2021/2022 is $2,000,000. Future expenditures for projects will be as appropriated in each years' budget.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council waive the bidding, per Chapter 35.04(c), good cause shown, and approve participating in the Martin County Contract #RFP2022-3366 with Securitas Electronic Security, Inc., for Security & Access Control Service, Equipment & Installation.
