3. Purpose: To provide a new 24-inch force main to divert up to 4.0 million gallons per day (MGD) from the Southport Booster Pump Station to the Glades Wastewater Booster Pump Station.

5. Duration: 630 calendar days with no option to renew.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: If this force main is constructed, the Westport Wastewater Treatment Facility will not require additional capacity for the time being.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council award Contract #20230111 and enter into a unit price contract with Felix Civil Construction, LLC for the construction of the 24-inch force main.

Background: This project provides a new 24-inch force main to divert up to 4.0 MGD from Southport Booster Pump Station to the Glades Wastewater Booster Pump Station. This flow will bypass the Westport Wastewater Treatment Facility and be transferred to the Glades Wastewater Treatment Facility.
