Executive Summary (General Business): A legislative update will be provided outlining major actions of the 2026 Florida Legislative Session and implications for the City of Port St. Lucie.
Presentation Information: An approximately 20-minute presentation will be provided by the state legislative team.
Staff Recommendation: Request that the Council hear the update.
Background: At the conclusion of the State Legislative Session the state legislative team provides an update on legislative and budgetary actions of the Florida Legislature.
Issues/Analysis: The Legislative Team will discuss implications of the actions of the 2026 Florida Legislature on the City of Port St. Lucie.
