Executive Summary (General Business): The Owners of the real property located at 660 Peacock Blvd., Unit 4, have agreed to lease the property to the City, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Lease Agreement that is being submitted to the City Council for approval.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve of the resolution authorizing the lease of real property designated as Unit 4 in the building located at 660 NW Peacock Blvd., Port St. Lucie, Florida, 34986, for the storage of evidentiary vehicles in the custody of the City's Police Department.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the Resolution authorizing the lease.
2. Move that the Council not approve the Resolution and provide staff direction.
Background: The subject property is approximately 10,771 rentable square feet of industrial space on the ground floor designated as Unit 4 in the building located at 660 NW Peacock Blvd., Port St. Lucie, Florida 34986, including 893 square feet of finished office/restroom area plus 923 feet of limited access loft storage. The City's Police Department currently stores evidentiary vehicles in an open air parking lot at the Wastewater Treatment Plant located on SW Glades Cutoff Road where the vehicles are exposed to the elements.
