3. Purpose: To obtain grant funds to support the Sagamore Basin Stormwater Treatment Area project, the Floresta Baffle Box and the St. Lucie River/C-23 Water Quality Project at McCarty Ranch.

Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): 1) Sagamore Basin Stormwater Treatment Area Project: The project's total construction cost is $1,890,000 of which $838,230 is funded by the City of Port St. Lucie, and approximately 56 percent, not to exceed $1,051,770, is funded through the IRL Water Quality Improvement Grant. 2) Floresta Baffle Box: The project's total construction cost is $707,972 of which $34,500 by the City of Port St. Lucie and approximately 95 percent, not to exceed $672,472.23 is funded through the IRL Water Quality Improvement Grant. 3) St. Lucie River/C-23 Water Quality Project: The project's total construction cost is $6,592,483, of which $2,899,306 are funded by FDEP, $2,917,419 by the City of Port St. Lucie and approximately 12 percent, not to exceed $775,758 is funded through the IRL Water Quality Improvement Grant.
