Strategic Plan Link: The City’s Mission to plan for smart and balanced growth.

 

Executive Summary (General Business): The Applicant is requesting approval of a 181,925 square foot, 54 bed hospital and a 60,000 square foot medical office building. The site plan includes provisions for public and private right of way, stormwater management tracts, public art and micro-mobility space, as well as other associated site infrastructure improvements. 

 

Presentation Information: Staff may provide a brief presentation.

 

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the request as recommended by the Site Plan Review Committee.

 

Alternate Recommendations:

1.                     Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the request.

2.                     Move that the Council not approve and provide staff direction.

 

Background: The Site Plan Review Committee recommended approval on April 27, 2022.

Special Consideration: The site plan is contingent upon the approval of the second reading of P21-281, St. Lucie Lands PUD Amendment No. 4.

 

Location of Project: The site plan is located on the south side of the intersection of SE Becker Road and SE Veranda Place, in the SE quadrant of the Florida Turnpike-Becker Road interchange.
