3. Purpose: Approve FRDAP grant amendment

5. Duration: Two years
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: : $200,000 for the development of O.L. Peacock, Sr., Park amenities.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): OL Peacock Sr. Park Project will be advertised with park amenities listed as individual line items. If received bids exceed all individual line items, the project will be phased to include park improvements that can be constructed within the approved budget. The estimated project cost, including the playground, is $3,332,221.10.

Presentation Information: Upon City Council request, Carrie Wilbur is prepared to provide a project overview.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the Amendment to the Agreement and authorize the City Manager to execute the same.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the OL Peacock Sr. Park FRDAP amendment.
2. Move that the Council not approve the OL Peacock Sr. Park FRDAP amendment and provide further direction.

Background: O.L. Peacock, Sr., Park development is one of the City of Port St. Lucie's main Strategic Priorities: Goal 6 - Culture, Nature and Fun Activities. This project has been highlighted as a Priority Project and funding was allocated within the City's Capital Improvement Plan for Fiscal Year 22/23, Fiscal Year 23/24 and beyond.
