Background: This contract is being utilized to accomplish repaving projects identified in the City's 10-year Roadway Preservation and Resurfacing Master Plan. The 10-year Master Plan consists of projects identified and funded through the capital improvement and half cent sales tax budgets.

Many of the City's streets were constructed in the 1980's and 1990's and asphalt pavement in Florida typically has a Life span of 15-20 years. So, ideally the City's streets need to be resurfaced or repaved every 15-20 years, which means many of the City's streets are coming up on their seco...
