Executive Summary: The City Attorney’s Office will provide training to the Board on Quasi-Judicial Procedures, the Sunshine Law, Public Records, Ethics and Roberts Rules of Order and how they pertain to the roles and responsibilities of the Planning and Zoning Board.
Presentation Information: Staff will provide a presentation.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Board hear the presentations and discuss any questions with the City Attorney and Planning Department staff.
Background: Annual training includes a presentation on Sunshine Law, Public Records requirements, Ethics, Quasi-Judicial Procedures, and Robert’s Rules of Order, all of which apply to members of the Planning Board.
