2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie & McNabb-Miller Hydrogeologic Consulting, Inc.
3. Purpose: To provide design, permitting, and CEI services for two (2) class 1 deep injection wells and one (1) monitoring well to serve the future Rangeline Water Treatment Facility and one (1) class 1 deep injection well at Glades Wastewater Treatment Facility.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: 1,392 calendar days with no option to renew.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: The deep injection wells are part of larger plant expansion projects to meet the needs of the City's growing population. Deep injection wells allow for the safe, environmentally approved disposal means for water and wastewater treatment processes. Redundancy also allows for continued operation in case of emergency or regularly scheduled maintenance, thereby maintaining service to residential, commercial, and critical customers, such as hospitals, nursing homes, schools, etc.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): One-time expense of $3,728,663.70.
