Executive Summary (General Business): This Resolution authorizes the City Manager, or written designee, to enter into and execute grant agreements related to law enforcement and traffic safety from specific Local, State and Federal agencies. The purpose is to streamline administrative processes and enhance operational efficiency by allowing the Police Department to promptly act on funding opportunities that support public safety initiatives. All agreements will remain subject to legal review and approval, as well as the oversight of the City Manager in accordance with the City Charter. This Resolution is limited to grant agreements that do not require matching funds or financial contributions from the City.

Presentation Information: No formal presentation but staff will be available for questions.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve Resolution 26-R__, authorizing the City Manager, or written designee, to enter into and execute grant agreements related to law enforcement and traffic safety, subject to the supervision of the City Manager.
