Summary Brief (Agreements/Contracts only)
1. Prepared by: Robyn Holder, CPPB (PMD).
2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and Ferguson Enterprises, LLC dba Ferguson Waterworks
3. Purpose: To directly purchase the materials for the potable water main to the recreational vehicle and camp sites including adequate fire flows for proposed fire hydrants serving the McCarty Ranch Preserve.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: The Contractor shall commence work within ten days of the start date and provide work as authorized by the Project Manager until all work specified in the bid specifications has been rendered.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: When the Project is complete, the McCarty Ranch Preserve will have potable water, fire protection, and support drinking water quality via the looping of the water supply.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): The cost of the materials is $372,936.89. This amount represents the Base Bid plus Option #2.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council award Contract #20240054 and enter into a unit price contract with Ferguson Enterprises, LLC dba Ferguson Waterworks for the direct material purchase for the McCarty Ranch Potable Water Main Extension.

2. Move that the Council reject all bids and provide staff with direction to rebid or cancel the bid.
