2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie, a Florida municipal corporation and Walter Rodriguez
3. Purpose: To accept the conveyance of 120 SW Becker Road, pursuant to the Agreement for Exchange of Real Property between the City and Mr. Rodriguez. Mayor Oravec presented a concern at the May 10, 2021 Regular City Council Meeting regarding the construction of a home immediately adjacent to the Turnpike overpass on Becker Road. City staff met and proposes a land swap to address the concern.

6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Accept conveyance of Mr. Rodriguez's real property for drainage purposes.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): The City paid $450 to appraise 120 SW Becker Road and $550 to appraise Tract "C." If approved, closing costs will be shared by both parties. Each party is responsible to pay for their own title insurance. The City will require a drainage easement as there currently exists a culvert pipe which runs through the western side of the City-owned property.
