2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and Layne Christensen Company.
3. Purpose: To provide the required Mechanical Integrity Testing (MIT) at the Glades Wastewater Treatment Facility, IW-1 Deep Injection Well.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: Modified.
5. Duration: Additional 62 calendar days are required for the testing of Glades Deep Injection Well. New end date is 8/31/2023.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: As specified in Rule 62-528, Florida Administrative Code (FAC) a Class I injection well must demonstrate mechanical integrity every five years.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): An additional $53,550.00 will be added to the original Contract. The new Contract amount is $204,750.00.

Background: As specified in Rule 62-528, Florida Administrative Code (FAC) a Class 1 injection well must demonstrate mechanical integrity every five years. The most recent casing pressure test for the Glades Deep Injection Well IW-1 was last completed in September 2018. Therefore, the next MIT must be completed by September 2023.
