6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: The replacement of Lift Station SP-16 ensures continued reliable utility service for the City's utility customers. This project is complete.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): An additional $52,476.56 to be added to the contract resulting in the Contract amount being increased to $895,052.56.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve Amendment #4 to Contract 20210016 for the Replacement of Lift Station SP-16 with Felix Associates of Florida, Inc.

1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve Amendment #4 to Contract #20210016.
2. Move that the Council not approve Amendment #3 to Contract #20210016 and provide staff with direction.
Background: Amendment #4 includes one (1) change order and a time extension that are identified below:
1) Created pay item for the 8" LPM piping.
2) Created a pay item for the 8" gate valves.
3) Added ESYR Sealing Fittings to the electrical scope.
4) Added work associated with City provided odor control unit.
5) Added cantilever gate and eliminated swing gate.
6) Added yard drain.
7) Replace swale liner and construct berm at rear of property.
