2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie , Martin Memorial Medical Center, Inc., and Southern Grove Community Development District No. 1.
3. Purpose: For access to, and/or maintenance of the City's drainage and related water management facilities.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New
5. Duration: Perpetuity
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Allows provision for the City's roadway drainage to continue to flow through a closed piped system within the Water Management Tract owned by Martin Memorial Center, Inc.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): There will be no cost to the City.
Presentation Information: Staff will be available to answer any questions.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the Resolution authorizing acceptance of the Access, Drainage, and Water Management Easement.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the resolution.
2. Move that the Council not approve the resolution and provide staff direction.
Background: Horizon Acquisitions St. Lucie, LLC conveyed a Flowage Easement to the City of Port St. Lucie as depicted on the easement recorded in O.R. Book 2902, Page 1177, and on Water Management Tract (WMT-1) of the Southern Grove Plat No. 9, recorded in Plat Book 68, Page 16, Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida.
