Strategic Plan Link: The City's Goal of high-quality infrastructure and facilities.
Executive Summary (General Business): Staff initiated revisions to the City's Mobility Plan, Mobility Fee Technical Report and Mobility Fee Ordinance to adjust the fee in response to the extraordinary growth over the last 5 years. The extraordinary growth finding is supported by the 2025 Extraordinary Circumstances Study. This update will help the City address projected growth over the next 25 years. The City anticipates the addition of over 100,000 new residents during this timeframe. This update is consistent with the City's Strategic Plan and the Comprehensive Plan.
Presentation Information: Staff will show a brief video then provide a FAQ presentation that addresses common questions relating to the 2050 Mobility Plan and Fee Schedule. Following these items, Jonathan Paul will provide a comprehensive presentation on the 2050 Mobility Plan and Fee Schedule.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve Ordinance 25-76 and adopt the City of Port St. Lucie 2050 Mobility Plan, Mobility Fee Technical Report, Extraordinary Circumstances Study and Adopt revisions to the Mobility Fee Ordinance.
