Executive Summary (General Business): Mattamy Palm Beach, LLC has completed the construction of the four lane divided roadway of SW Tradition Parkway Phases 1, 2 & 3 and the two lane roadway of SW Fernlake Drive as approved by City Council. The developer has requested the City accept ownership and maintenance of the roadway improvements in accordance with City Code of Ordinance Section 156.150.
Presentation Information: Staff will be available to answer questions.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council accept the roadway improvements in accordance with Section 156.150 of the City Code of Ordinances.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and accept the roadway improvements.
2. Move that the Council not accept the roadway improvements and provide staff direction.
Background: Mattamy Palm Beach, LLC (Developer) has completed the construction of SW Tradition Parkway Phases 1, 2 & 3, and SW Fernlake Drive. The roadway plans were approved by City Council by Resolutions 21-R75, 22-R14 and 22-R79. The approved roadway plans detail the construction of the four (4) lane SW Tradition Parkway and two (2) lane SW Fernlake Drive together with landscaping, sidewalk, and drainage improvements that will support the roadway. SW Tradition Parkway extends the roadway 6,600 linear feet from the Renaissance Charter School's driveway to approximately 100 feet west of the Cadence and Seville round-a-bout.
