Executive Summary (General Business): B-D2 Holdings, LLC, owner, has applied to rezone approximately 4.89 acres of vacant land located within the Western Grove DRI from the zoning designation of St. Lucie County Agricultural 5 (one (1) dwelling unit per five (5) acres) to the zoning designation of City of Port St. Lucie Master Planned Unit Development (MPUD). The subject property is located within a designated Neighborhood Village/Commercial sub-district as depicted on Map H of the Western Grove DRI and Figure 1-3 of the City of Port St. Lucie Comprehensive Plan. The proposed MPUD is consistent with the development requirements for the Neighborhood Village/Commercial sub-district.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the MPUD rezoning and concept plan as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Board.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the MPUD rezoning and concept plan.
2. Move that the Council not approve and provide staff direction.
