Strategic Plan Link: The City’s Mission to plan for smart and balanced growth.

 

Executive Summary (General Business): This project consists of a new one-story 3,109 square foot convenience store with gas pumps on the existing Publix at Verano site. This site plan amendment is being reviewed concurrently with a special exception use application (P19-098) Publix Super Markets Special Exception Use application.

 

Presentation Information: Staff may present a presentation.

 

Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the site plan as recommended by the Site Plan Review Committee.

 

Alternate Recommendations:

1.                     Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the site plan.

2.                     Move that the Council not approve the site plan and provide staff direction.

 

Background: The Site Plan Review Committee reviewed the request at their August 14, 2019 meeting and recommended approval.
