3. Purpose: Providing additional financial assistance for design services in connection with the construction of Port St. Lucie Boulevard widening project from South of Paar Drive to South of Darwin Boulevard.

5. Duration: From execution of the Agreement to completion of the project.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: This amendment to the Locally Funded Agreement (LFA) allows the City to provide the required additional funding to FDOT, per the terms of the original LFA. The total Project cost is estimated to be Three Million Six Hundred Eighty-Six Thousand Six Hundred Forty-Five Dollars and no cents ($3,686,645.00). Per the conditions of the original LFA, in the event the actual cost of the project is greater than that paid by the City, the City shall be responsible to pay the difference to the FDOT. On September 19, 2019, FDOT received Seven Hundred Ninety-One Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-Two Dollars and no cents ($791,852.00) from the City for the Project's design services. The actual Project design cost is Nine Hundred Forty-Three Thousand One Hundred Ninety-One Dollars and no cents ($943,191.00); therefore, the City is responsible for the difference of One Hundred Fifty-One Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-Nine Dollars and no cents ($151,339.00).
