2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie , Southern Underground, Inc. (Primary) & CK Contractors and Development (Secondary).
3. Purpose: To procure the services related to Culvert replacement throughout the City.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: Three (3) Years with an option to renew for an additional two-year period.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: To ensure public safety for the citizens, water quality and preventative maintenance to keep long range costs down.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): $2,350,000.00 Annually.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council Award Contract #20240060 and enter into unit price contracts with Southern Underground as the primary contractor and CK Contractors and Development as the secondary contractor for Citywide Stormwater & Right of Way Preventative Maintenance and Repairs.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council reject the recommended proposal(s).
2. Move that the Council reject all proposals and provide staff with direction.

Background: The City has an ongoing program to replace aging infrastructure in part by way of contract services. This option allows the City staff and our crews to respond to unscheduled events and new projects that they are often tasked with while at the same time not compromising time sensitive repairs.
