3. Purpose: To construct a roundabout at the intersection of East Torino Parkway and Turtle Dove Lane/North Torino Parkway. The intersection is currently operating as an "All Way" stop. The project also includes improvements at the intersection of East Torino Parkway at Midway Road. These improvements include adding an additional left turn lane and lengthening the existing left turn/through lane and right turn lane.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: 270 calendar days with no option to renew.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Reduce traffic congestion and improve traffic flow. The roundabout will also create a "Gateway" into the City with the potential installation of an art feature.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): One- time expense of $2,185,781.55.
