Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council award Contract 20220109 and enter into a unit price contract with Timothy Rose Contracting, Inc. for the Import Drive Sidewalk Construction Project - Phase 2.

Alternate Recommendations:

2. Move that the Council not approve Contract #20220109 and provide staff with direction.

Background: Since 2006, the City has prioritized the design and construction of sidewalks within a two-mile radius of elementary, middle, and high schools on major roadways to provide a safe route to school for children. The list has since expanded to establish a network of connecting sidewalks throughout the City. Import Drive is on the Sidewalk Priority List approved by City. Council.
