5. Duration: The Contract Period is for 850 calendar days.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Addresses the City's Strategic Plan goals by providing increased mobility options to residents and by beautifying a residential neighborhood.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): The total amount to be paid by the City to the Consultant is for a lump sum of $2,625,990.75.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council award Contract #20210041 for Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) & Geotechnical (GEO) Services for Floresta Drive Phase 2.

1. Move that the Council reject Contract # 20210041 and provide staff with direction.

Background: Improvements to the Floresta Drive corridor is a priority for the City Council and at the 2017 Summer Retreat, Council directed staff to model the corridor from a traffic standpoint for both a 2-lane and 4- lane roadway section. The new modeling was performed, and it included the new Crosstown Parkway Extension Project connection to U.S. Highway 1 at Village Drive, for the projected traffic volumes in the year 2037.
