Executive Summary (General Business): The Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) is requesting permission from the City Council to apply to the FY 2023 Microgrants Program: Community Policing Development (CPD). PSLPD intends to apply for funding of $175,000 to hire two full-time Civilian Background Investigators, along with related expenses to assist with PSLPD's new recruitment plan. This grant covers a project period of one year starting October 1, 2023, with no match.
