2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie ("Grantee") and the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection ("DEP")
3. Purpose: The USD will install a force main interconnect to transport flow from the Westport Water Treatment Facility ("WTF") to the Glades Booster Pump Station.

5. Duration: The Grant Agreement expires September 30, 2026.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: The force main interconnect transports flow during heavy rain, tidal and storm-induced flooding conditions to be treated to high-level disinfection standards and reused for irrigation, reducing discharges to the St. Lucie River and the Estuary Basin.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): The DEP is matching up to $8,755,155 for a total estimated project cost for construction of $17,524,310.
