2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. ("Engineer")
3. Purpose: The purpose of this Amendment is to provide additional engineering services, which allows the Engineer to perform a visual observation of the existing 445 pressure vessels at the James E. Anderson ("JEA") Water Treatment Facility. The Engineer will oversee the installation of the vessels previously purchased by the City.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: Modified.
5. Duration: The Contract expires August 5, 2024, so no additional time is needed.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Uphold the water treatment equipment drinking water assets for the reliability, suitability, and the reduction of preventative maintenance labor costs through the cost and installation of new pressure vessels.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): An additional $70,275.00 for a new contract amount of $554,595.00.
