Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council waive the bidding, per Chapter 35.04(c), good cause shown, and approve the purchase of Motorola radios from Motorola Solutions utilizing Florida State Contract #43190000-22-NASPO-ACS.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve utilization of the Florida State Contract #43190000-22-NASPO-ACS.
2. Move that the Council not approve utilization of Florida State Contract #43190000-22-NASPO-ACS and provide staff with direction.

Background: The Police Department has recently added vehicles to the fleet that will require handheld and dash mount radios. The current Police department fleet is outfitted with Motorola handheld and dash mount radios in each unit.

Issues/Analysis: Staff has reviewed Florida State Contract #43190000-22-NASPO-ACS and finds that it meets the needs of the City and meets the requirements of the City's procurement ordinance.
