Executive Summary (General Business): Presentation of the final Conceptual Master Plan for Tradition Regional Park, the City's first regional park. Staff is requesting City Council approval of the conceptual master plan, and consider authorizing Mattamy Palm Beach, LLC, to begin Phase I site plan preparation, including Phase I detailed construction drawings.

Presentation Information: A PowerPoint presentation (15 minutes) by Mr. Steven Garrett, Lucido & Associates, on behalf of Mattamy Palm Beach, LLC.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the Conceptual Master Plan for Tradition Regional Park, and authorize Mattamy Palm Beach, LLC, to proceed with preparing a Phase I site plan and detailed construction drawings for the project.

1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the Conceptual Master Plan for Tradition Regional Park, and authorize Mattamy Palm Beach, LLC, to proceed with preparing a Phase I site plan and detailed construction drawings for the project.

Background: On March 9, 2020, City Council authorized Mattamy Palm Beach, LLC, to begin the conceptual master planning process for Tradition Regional Park. Mattamy's goal was to develop a conceptual master plan for the future park, illustrating park features and amenities that were derived through the public engagement process, meetings with stakeholder groups, referencing the Park & Recreation Department's 10-Year Master Plan and with guidance from City staff.
