Executive Summary (General Business): The owner of 373 SW North Quick Circle, Port St. Lucie, Florida, is requesting to abandon seven (7) feet of the existing twenty (20) foot wide rear utility and drainage easement as depicted on Exhibit "A" for a pool, deck, and screen enclosure.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve to abandon seven (7) feet of the rear twenty (20) foot utility and drainage easement as depicted on Exhibit "A" and located at 373 SW North Quick Circle.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve to abandon seven (7) feet of the rear twenty (20) foot utility and drainage easement as depicted on Exhibit "A" and located at 373 SW North Quick Circle.
2. Move that the Council not approve the abandonment and provide staff direction.
Background: The real property located at 373 SW North Quick Circle was platted with a rear twenty (20) foot wide utility and drainage easement. The owner desires to construct a pool, deck, and screen enclosure. Prior to construction, a seven (7) foot wide portion of the easement will need to be abandoned as depicted on Exhibit "A". The owner of the property has submitted a request for the abandonment to the City.
