2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)
3. Purpose: To enter into a Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement with FDOT.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New
5. Duration: Project needs to be let no later than May 3, 2023 and constructed by April 19, 2024.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Provides pedestrian access on the west side of NW Selvitz Road between NW Floresta Drive and NW Bayshore Boulevard
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): The anticipated cost to the City is estimated to be $103,183.00 pending the execution of the LAP agreement which will contribute $344,650.00.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the Resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into and execute a Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the motion.
2. Move that the Council not approve the agreement and provide staff direction.
