Executive Summary (General Business): The current request specifically seeks to amend the future land use designation for approximately 6.83 acres from Commercial Limited (CL) to the future land use designation of Commercial General/Institutional (CG/I).

Presentation Information: Staff will provide a presentation.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council adopt the amendment as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Board.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and adopt the amendment.
2. Move that the Council not approve the amendment and provide staff direction.

Background: The proposal to amend the future land use for the subject 6.83-acre property to the Commercial General/Institutional (CG/I) classification is consistent with the permitted uses outlined in the pending first amendment to the Sandpiper Bay Planned Unit Development (PUD) (fka Club Med Sandpiper PUD) regulation document.
