Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and TRANE U.S. Inc. (“Trane”).
Purpose: To approve additional expenditure under Contract #2025315 for the replacement of the existing CH-1 chiller at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center with a new 200-ton Trane air-cooled chiller.
New/Renewal/Modified: N/A.
Duration: Contract #20250315, utilizing OMNIA Cooperative Contract #3341, is in effect through August 31, 2027, with one (1) additional five-year renewal option.
Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Ensures reliable and efficient HVAC operation at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center, supporting both Event Center and Parks & Recreation operations and their continued service to City residents.
Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): This approval is requested to provide for a one-time expenditure of $429,359.00 for the replacement and installation of the CH-1 chiller at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center. Including previously approved expenditures under Contract #20250315, the total approved expenditures under the Contract will increase to $2,744,379.00.
