Summary Brief (Agreements/Contracts only)

2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. ("Consultant")
3. Purpose: To amend the Contract to extend the duration and include Grant Administration Services for the (continued) intent to complete this project.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: Modified.
5. Duration: This Amendment grants additional time through December 2027.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: The Westport Wastewater Treatment Facility ("WWTF") is permitted to treat up to 6.00 million gallons per day ("MGD"). This Project will alleviate flow which would normally go to the Westport WWTF to the Glades Booster Pump Station instead.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): Additional $660,983.00 for a revised Contract amount of $2,310,543.00.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve Amendment #4 to Contract #20210081 for the additional time and Grant Administration and CEI Services on behalf of the Utility Systems Department to manage the construction of the new 24-inch force main.
