5. Duration: Three years with the option for two additional two-year renewals.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Provide mowing and edging services at various locations for an attractive thoroughfare and sidewalk appearance throughout the City.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): Estimated annual expenditure of $401,239. All future expenditures will be appropriated in the proposed budgets for each fiscal year.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council award Contract #20210042 and enter into a fixed unit price contract with Sunshine Land Design, Inc. for Mowing of all Major Thoroughfares and Sidewalk Edging.

1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and award Contract #20210042.
2. Move that the Council not approve Contract #20210042 and provide staff with direction.
Background: The City has an estimated 488 acres of major thoroughfares with approximately 636,262 linear feet of sidewalk edges that require mowing and edging services throughout the City. The original contract will expire and does not have any more renewal, so PMD issued a new bid for these services.
