7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): An additional $310,172.23 is required for this work. The new contract total amount is $3,880,123.52.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve Amendment #2 to Contract #20220066 for the Drainage Improvements at The Saints Golf Course with XGD Systems, LLC.

2. Move that the Council not approve Amendment #2 to Contract #20220066 and provide staff with direction.

Background: During the drainage improvements at The Saints Golf Course, the improvements to the swale along hole #15 that borders the neighboring homes along Sunshine Street did not meet the expectations of the residents. Considerations were made to soften the elevations of the slope through design changes that were developed to improve the aesthetics, provide better access for maintenance equipment, and meet the State Water-Quality Assistance Grant (SWAG) requirements. There are also several other work additions addressed in this Amendment #2.
