Background: The real property located at 5956 NW Baynard Ave., Port St. Lucie, Florida, was platted with a twenty (20) foot wide utility and drainage easement on the east side of the property. The owners desire to construct a new single family residential home and the abandonment is needed to accommodate the setback requirements. Prior to construction, a portion of the easement will need to be abandoned. The owners of the property have submitted a request for the abandonment to the City.
