2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and Coast to Coast Landscaping, Inc.
3. Purpose: To defoliate vegetation on the roadway curbs, crack expansion joints, drainage inlets, bullnose, parking lots and spaces for street parking to allow for effective clean up with the City's street sweeper.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New
5. Duration: 3 years with an option for an additional 2-year renewal.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Will significantly compliment the City's efforts towards a "clean, safe and beautiful City" by limiting the pooling of water that accumulates during rain events which is due in part to vegetative growth within the cracks, expansion joints and on street parking which cannot be extracted or is accessible with the street sweeper.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): Estimated annual expenditures are $116,160. Future years will be as appropriated in each year's budget.
