1. Prepared by: Kelly A. Tiger, Special Events Administrator.
2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and the City of Port St Lucie Downtown Lions Club, LLC.
3. Purpose: To provide a free, safe event celebrating the fall season.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: Renewal.
5. Duration: Friday, Oct. 28 - Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: To provide a fall event and continue partnership with Downtown Lions Club, LLC.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): This is a 50/50 coproduced event between the City of Port St. Lucie and the Downtown Lions Club, LLC, exclusive of alcohol fees or revenue. Alcohol fees and revenue are the sole responsibility of the Downtown Lions Club, LLC.
8. Presentation Information: Parks & Recreation will be in attendance should there be any questions regarding this event.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the 2022 Fall Fun Fest Event License Agreement.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the 2022 Fall Fun Fest Event License Agreement.
2. Move that the Council provide staff with other direction.
Background: The 2022 Fall Fun Fest event has been co-produced for the last 20+ years with the City of Port St Lucie Downtown Lions Club, LLC, providing a carnival, live musical entertainment, youth performances, fall fun and Street of Treats trick or treating event.
