Planning and Zoning Board Alternate Member Interviews

Executive Summary: The Planning and Zoning Board have an alternate member vacancy that needs to be filled by an eligible and willing candidate. The alternate member, is a voting member when needed to stand in for when a regulate board member is not able to attend a regular board meeting.
Presentation Information: Due to Covid-19, interviews may occur over Zoom. Applicant’s attendance will be confirmed by staff. Planning and Zoning Board members attending virtually should be prepared to print out the tally sheet to be emailed to staff at the appropriate time.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Board recommend to City Council a candidate to fill the Alternate volunteer position to serve as a Planning and Zoning Board member
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Board amend the recommendation and provide staff direction on how to proceed with filling the alternate board position.
2. Move that the Board reject all candidates and solicit additional candidates.
