Executive Summary (General Business): Pursuant to Article III., Sec. 3.05 of the City’s Charter, “[t]he Mayor shall . . . appoint with the advice and consent of the council the members of citizen advisory boards and commissions.” This item provides for the Council’s approval of the appointment and/or reappointment of members of these advisory boards to serve for the relevant term thereunder.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the recommendation and appointment/reappoint the members of various boards and committees as outlined in the attached memorandum.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation.
2. Move that the Council does not approve the recommendation and provide staff with direction.
Background: The appointments/reappointments for this item are to the Citizen’s Advisory Committee; the Construction Board of Appeals; the Surtax Oversight Committee; the Planning and Zoning Board; and the Public Art Advisory Board.
