Executive Summary (General Business): The City desires to convey approximately 7.54 acres of real property to the Port St. Lucie Governmental Finance Corporation ("GFC") for future development purposes.
Presentation Information: Staff will be available to answer any questions.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the Ordinance Authorizing the Conveyance of approximately 7.54 acres of Real Property to the Port St. Lucie Governmental Finance Corporation.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the conveyance.
2. Move that the Council not approve the conveyance and provide direction.
Background: The realignment of Marshall Parkway for a potential future Interstate 95 interchange creates a remnant parcel to the south, with the abandonment of the original Marshall Parkway roadway alignment. The realignment was necessary to meet the Florida Department of Transportation standards for interchange spacing. The new alignment meets the criteria, providing for two miles between the interchange to the north (Tradition Parkway / Gatlin Blvd) and Becker Rd to the south.

Special Consideration: After extensive review, the parcel is not needed for use by any City departments or for stormwater purposes.
