Executive Summary (General Business): The City of Port St. Lucie is requesting to amend the Future Land Use Map to change the designation of approximately 3.12 acres of land within the Sandpiper Bay PUD from Open Space Recreation (OSR) to General Commercial/Institutional (CG/I) to address regulatory inconsistencies. The amendment applies to two specific areas of the property: a 0.94-acre area located between the existing fields and parking lot, and a 2.18-acre area at the southernmost end of SE Morningside Boulevard, where the roadway ends. No changes are proposed to the golf course.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council adopt the amendment as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Board at their October 7, 2025 meeting.
