Executive Summary (General Business): Approve the terms and conditions of the artwork commission agreement for a sculpture to be installed in the roundabout at SW Paar Drive and SW Savona Boulevard and authorize execution of the agreement by the City Manager.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the terms and conditions of the artwork commission agreement between the City and Molly Mason and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement.
Background: City Council unanimously approved Molly Mason’s dragonflythemed artwork at its June 23, 2026, meeting.
The City Council has prioritized enhancement of public spaces through public art installations. The City continues to incorporate public art into modern roundabouts at key intersections. A sculpture by Molly Mason has been proposed for the SW Paar Drive/SW Savona Boulevard roundabout, and an artwork commission agreement has been prepared outlining design responsibilities, scope, installation requirements, and conditions of performance. Council approval is required to finalize the terms and authorize execution.

Financial Information: The sculpture installation will be funded through the Public Art Fund in the amount of $150,000. No taxpayer dollars will be used through the General Fund.
