body
Submitted By: Christina Flores, Executive Assistant, Mayor and City Council

Strategic Plan Link: The City's Goal of a high-performing city government organization.

Executive Summary (General Business): As you are aware, on September 11, 2023, the City Council passed Resolution 23-R105, then repealed and replaced by Resolution 23-R127 on December 4, 2023, which created the operating procedures for Boards and Committees. Section IV of the Resolution governs Board Terms and states: Board members shall serve a term of three (3) years. There shall be no term limit for board members, however, the City Council may reappoint board members who reapply for their positions. Board members who were appointed prior to September 1, 2023, may continue to serve until the expiration of their term, or January 1, 2024, whichever occurs first. Board members wishing to serve after January 1, 2024, must reapply to the City Clerk's office by November 15, 2023. Therefore, this memorandum serves to do the following, subject to City Council's advice and consent: Reappoint Maddie Williams, Terissa Aronson, and Alice Zinn to the Public Art Advisory Board. Appoint alternate member Cathleen Sullivan as a regular member of the Public Art Advisory Board. Appoint the applicants referenced below to the Public Art Advisory Board: Pamela Malingowski, Gina Duffy, Kelli Burgess; and both Shelli August and Tricia Maxwell as Alternates.
