3. Purpose: To provide the City's Public Works ("PW") and Utility Systems Department ("USD") with Laboratory Services.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: Three years with two additional one-year options to renew.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: To provide reduced, fixed pricing on all routine analysis services.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): The estimated annual expenditure is $50,000 (USD) and $15,000 (PW) for a total of $65,000. Future expenditures will be appropriated in each year's budget.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve participating in Collier County's Contract #23-8149, per Chapter 35.08(a)(9)(b) (Piggyback Contracts exception) for Laboratory Services with Pace Analytical Services, LLC.

1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve participating in Collier County's Contract #23-8149.
2. Move that the Council not approve participating in Collier County's Contract #23-8149 and provide staff with direction.

Background: The City is required to maintain compliance with applicable regulatory agencies, including the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), the Florida Department of Health (DOH), and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
