Executive Summary (General Business): Due to recent staff changes, there is a current opening for a St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce representative to serve on the Public Art Advisory Board. In addition, there is a permanent member opening on the Public Art Advisory Board due to a recent member resignation.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Mayor and Council accept the recommendation of the Public Art Advisory Board to appoint Nashaly Camacho, St. Lucie Chamber of Commerce representative, to the Public Art Advisory Board, and appoint Alice Zinn, an existing alternate member to permanent member on the Public Art Advisory Board.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation.
2. Move that the Council not approve and provide staff with direction.

Background: Chapter 162.03.(2) of the Art in Public Places Code calls for a representative of the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce to serve as a member of the Public Art Advisory Board. Nashaly Camacho, Event Administrator with the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce, has recently informed staff that she can serve as the member representing the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce moving forward. Katherine Cordero, who previously served as the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce representative, has accepted an advancement elsewhere.
