6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: To provide grounds maintenance services for various locations throughout the City.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): Estimated annual expenditures are $162,488.00.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council award Contract #20230025 and enter into a unit price contract with Brightview Landscape Services, Inc. for Grounds Maintenance Services of City Hall Complex, Community Center, Mary Ann Cernuto Park, Various Locations, and Additional Services.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and award Contract #20230025.
2. Move that the Council not approve and provide staff with direction.

Background: There were two separate contracts for maintaining multiple locations throughout the City. This E-Bid was a new bid combining Contracts #20140126R and #20140158R. Grounds maintenance services for these locations include lawn cutting, bush trimming, and general landscaping.

An E-Bid was issued on March 31, 2023 to 443 potential suppliers. There were 28 plan holders with seven proposals submitted on April 24, 2023. One proposal was deemed non-responsive.
